Rotating Machinery Engineering!
EPC365 Rotating Machinery engineers will perform the following activities:
- Select equipment and auxiliaries as required best suited to the process conditions throughout various operating scenarios including start-up, start of run, and end of run.
- Prepare and update additional equipment and auxiliary data sheets as required.
- Verify suitability of materials of construction indicated by Company.
- Define and integrate equipment control system with plant control systems such as PCS, PSS, ESD, Fire & Gas, Machinery Protection and Condition Monitoring systems, etc. The integration includes, but not limited to, the required hardware and software in terms of serial interface, data base and display configuration, etc.
- Prepare and issue material requisitions and prepare bid tabulation.
- Conduct clarification meeting with SUPPLIER to assure tender completeness prior to finalization of bid evaluation.
- Issue of technical evaluation and reports for company approval of SUPPLIER selection.
- Arrange and conduct kick-off meetings with SUPPLIER.
- Receive, review and approve SUPPLIER’s data, drawings, calculations and documentation including operating and maintenance manuals and manufacturing data reports.
- Review and approve shop test procedures.
- Witness final shop tests (mechanical run tests and performance tests) for critical equipment.
- Issue of final as-built data for the equipment and auxiliaries as SUPPLIER prints.
- Provision of all the required utilities including, but not limited to, electrical power (normal as well as emergency), instrument air, nitrogen, plant, air in required quantities with adequate design margins.
- Advise on transporting, receiving, storing, assembling, aligning, coupling, cabling, wiring, tubing, piping, mounting and grouting. Rectify all deficiencies and changes as a result of HAZOP and 3D model review.
